Crowther Memorial Junior High School (CMJHS) entered into a lockdown this morning after receiving a notice of a perceived safety threat located off of the school campus.

The school went into lockdown out of an abundance of caution.

RCMP were notified, and the situation was resolved quickly, with everyone remaining safe.

“We are proud of our students and staff for following our lockdown procedures in a calm, quick, and professional manner,” CMJHS said.

At this time, there is no other information available, and no comments have been made by CMJHS.
